My only complaint comes when it comes time to clean the filter. The filter must be completely dry before re - oiling it. It took or days for the filter to dry naturally. On my DR-Z400s, I just cleaned/ re -oiled my KN filter.
Could this have been due to over- oiling ? Can someone please let me know what their experiences have been with re - oiling ? Ok so I have a panel or a drop in air filter on my 20tundra v-standard air box or oem. This is only after several months of use and I never re -oiled it during that time. Just doing a service on vcm intake air filter , when re oiling the filter is it best to oil only the intake side only? Or both sides as kn say on . Filter Re - Oiling Amount: 1. Besides, by the time you buy all the cleaning and re - oiling stuff they recommen and go through .
